I rode 10 years on a cheap bike before buying an expensive bike, and I had fun and still ride the old one occasionally if the weather is bad.
This. I started out with a bike that was a little nicer than yours (but not as nice as some of the suggestions for you) and have upgraded it over the years as I've worn out various parts and added things it didn't come with (like lights, a rack, a mirror etc...). Keep riding and having fun for the time being, we can critique your choices on the things that really matter
here later.
