It seems perfectly natural to patronize businesses which provide safe parking for bikes and not if they don't. That's what a free market is all about, if they don't provide the service you need, spend your money at the competition that does. Fortunately most businesses where I live are "bike friendly" and provide bike racks of some kind, the malls and city do also. I can't even imagine why a bike shop would not.
