Hello all,
Congrats on a great forum and for being welcoming and supportive community you all are. I'm looking at curbing an internet gaming addiction and getting myself more active would love to lose weight but will also be looking to ride with the better half for quality time together, I'm 5'11" and 320 lbs. I've read a couple of the post and know it's all about getting out there with the right equipment. Stopped by two shops today to try some bikes recommended by them and coming to you all looking for more advice.
1st bike at a shop that sells Trek and Raleigh, this is the only bike he recommended

These next two were at a Cannondale and Jamis dealer

Jamis Coda Sport (can't get the link to work)
The Cannondale was recommended and they offered to put a more road friendly tire on it.
What do you guys think and is there any other manufactures I should check out. Thank you in advance for any help.
