I had colon surgery in 1998 and part of the colon was taken out and yes, I did have problems for a while, (6 years) but not too much anymore. There’s probably a lot of food I shouldn’t eat and the main one is probably ice cream.
Sometimes I get diarrhea out of the clear blue sky . Meaning it’s not caused by anything I ate, it just happens. That’s down too maybe twice a year or so now.
I was getting a colonoscopy every year until this year. Now I have to go once every 2 years. Thanks God for that, but every time I get one done they find cancerous polyps .
So I guess it’s something we have to live with and I guess you could call us very lucky to be a live.
