It looks like although Obree was out of the running for an overall win at Battle Mountain due to some design problems with the bike, he did post enough speed to grab a World Record in Prone Bicycle title, breaking a recorded that's been standing for about a couple of decades. That's cool.
But boy, Bowier's record run was a blistering 84mph+! It must have been pretty cool to see that come blasting down the road!
