Crater Lake: Partial Car-free Weekend

I didn't see anything about this on here. Apologies if I just missed it.

This weekend, Saturday Sept 21 and Sunday Sept 22 from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, East Rim Drive at Crater Lake will be free of motor vehicles. This turns it into a 24 mile bike path. Details: http://www.nps.gov/crla/planyourvisi...=643796-307230

I won't be there since I'll be riding The Duncan Ride http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...d-Century-Plus

If the National Park Service is going to make this an annual equinox event, we may have to change the date of The Duncan Ride next year. I suspect the determination as to whether this is done regularly and/or expanded will depend on participation. Go ride.
