I am shopping for Christmas gifts (albeit she will get them early....in time to ride this fall and early winter). I did look around and read up on opinions and found pretty much what the ladies chimed in here to say. I had one lady contact me with some good insight AND she gave me a website to a place that sold a great pair of tights (no bibs). They came from the west coast and got here today and I think she will be very happy with what I got her. On the last ride, she was telling me her feet were cold,... so I picked up a pair of those shoe covers that look like spats. Long fingered gloves and a helmet liner that covers her ears. We should be good until the snow flies! BTW,... she is 5'8",... so the tights were the right choice me thinks.....
