Specialized Enduro Lower COG Frame

Hi MTBers,

2005 Specialized Enduro frames are either an "All new A1 Premium Aluminum low center of gravity Enduro FSR frame" for the Expert and up models or an "A1 Premium Aluminum TransForm Monocoque FSR frame" for the Comp and lower models. The new frame has a vertical tube connecting the seat post holder to the lower frame, whereas the old frame does not.

How does this provide a lower COG, and how much lower?

Is this significant?

New frame looks stronger. Have old frames had problems?

Will all 2006 Enduros have new frame?
