Perhaps because you haven't seen as many of America's most spectacular roads as I have. I've motorcycled all over Colorado, Northern California, Big Sur many times, over every pass across the Sierra Nevadas at least twice, the Blue Ridge Parkway (and the Tail of the Dragon), and Palomar is a special place. In the top 3 roads in the US IMO.






Name one you consider better than Palomar's South Grade.
