Those are great hubs.... I was modifying the 2 speed automatic hub
Four Years Ago .. but I wound my own springs to replicate the existing torsion type springs used, as opposed to a compression spring (like the Bic pen)... not that a compression spring wouldn't work long term, but I preferred going with a torsion spring.
