It will cost right in the neighborhood of $15k to get someone transported from Palomar to the nearest hospital by helicopter.

The only thing that's unclear is how the insurance company would view what those sport bikes do on Palomar. It's not quite racing (racing implies competing against each other or at least being timed). I'm not sure if it's a "hill climbing exhibition" or what that even means.
This is what a Lawyer is paid for.... I just want to ride my bike, not analyze if everyone has auto insurance and what their policy might cover despite wreckless driving.
