I just finished my first century (about 102 miles, to be specific) yesterday, on my Trek 520. I rode from my apartment in east Cincinnati up along a scenic and winding route to my parents' house up in Beavercreek, OH. I did have to make a detour over to Centerville, OH on the way, to stop at JuneBug's Cupcakes, on account of undeniable deliciousness. It was slightly uphill nearly all the way, so I can't claim any great speed or time records (but that's not the point, is it?), but the route was mostly along the Little Miami Scenic Trail and was quite pleasant.
