What bike/bikes are you taking. It's something like 60% fire roads? Are you going to ride a proper road bike the whole time or are you taking a cross bike for the dirt and switching to a proper road bike for the paved parts? When you're on the pavement, have you discussed what kind of paceline strategy you're going to use?
