How do you folks cross the ocean with a trike ?
I'm looking at touring canada then straight over to europe. I would really like to travel by ship if possible, securing port to port work or something to minimise my costs. I was just wondering though about packing a trike up and making sure it shows up on the other end. Are airports or ships generally good with large items like that ? What do you have to do to ready your gear for travel ?
Assume you've just finished a long tour and you don't have a bike box etc.
