just done it the way it looks most useful. when you are pulling the bars you dont want to unwrap your tape. that was my kind of logic. but still i have to remove the levers beforehand. thats kind of stupid....haha
Wrapping from the top downward is a no-brainer with cotton as far as I'm concerned. Looks so much better than electrical tape or twine. What I actually meant was that your tape seems to be wrapped inwards on the left side, outwards on the right, which makes it look like the bar tape 'continues' through the clamp. That looks cool; I was wondering how it would hold up. I have been told to wrap inwards on both sides, i.e. symmetrically.
