If you are 60+ with good kidneys the new standard is no BP meds if 150/90 or below. I am going to stop the meds and see if I go over 150bpm. I have had low BP problems especially on long (100mi) rides with lots of climbing (12,000 feet) where I had to quit as I couldn't turn the pedals over. The problem was confirmed at the ER.
