I actually do run a regular tektro calliper in the front and the tires fit between them without rubbing. The axel-to-crown length on my fork is a little long though (368mm) so it is possible that these wouldn't work for everybody. I don't have a calliper but if I just eyeball with a ruler it looks pretty close to 30mm across and 28mm from the top of the rim lip to the top of tire.
