It is not about testosterone but about turkey pride.
It's the ego.
Doing repeats on kings is kind of entertaining. More then one time I am doing an interval at certain effort, for x amount of time, pass someone which I guess to much for their ego. So they jump on huffing and puffing trying to keep up, only for me seat up and turn around so I can do a next one from the bottom. I can only imagine what they think.
