I am still following the thread. Right now, I get very little training time at the track, but I'm hoping to change that with the new season. For the last two years, 95% of my track time has been on race day. I'm content to work with my existing, slow Alex wheels, but continue to browse craigslist and other local sources for an upgrade. I was hoping to get a better understanding of what things I should stay away from while I browse.
Ideally, I'd have a Zipp disc and a selection of wheels for the front, but I simply don't have the scratch for it right now. I'm getting married later this year, so all my spare cash is going toward that and similar expenses.
