Then when it was ten years old, something went haywire internally, so I sent it in to PW for the flat-rate overhaul. It came back with a new freehub body and was quiet; I mean dead silent quiet! I was so curious that I called PW to learn what had changed. Their response: No changes, we just shot it full of grease after the overhaul.
