These things are generally telling you things you already know on any given day. Good to focus on, undoubtedly, but interest wanes after a while.
Motion X 24/7 is currently on sale for $.99 in the iOS app store for anyone interested. Probably only worthwhile if you have a iPhone 5s due to the passive activity tracking capability it has.

I haven't tried a fitbit, but my wife and I got Jawbone UP 24s as gifts recently. They are interesting, and will be creating a interesting competitive element in our household. We will see how long we remain intesting.

I don't know about fitbit, but Jawbone seems to integrate with apps like Strava and MapYourFitness so you can capture your cycling activity. I will try it out this week to see how it works.
