I'm new to this. All of it. Riding, training, the whole 9 yards. I weigh in a little over 200 pounds now. I want to get down to about 140, maybe a little less. I have read quiye a few folks say they experienced 'over training symptoms.' Are these symptoms the same for everyone, or does everyone experience different symptoms? I don't know how hard to push myself at first to avoid that. My husband and I want to take off on long distance touring, but I'm not physically ready. My brain says lets go, but my pants size says otherwise.
Advice would be great. What is the best food to eat/avoid while pushing myself? I can do tons of research, but the best advice comes from those that have experienced it.
