I commuted with Candy-C pedals for about 5 months until I noticed my right-side cleat wearing-down to the point where I was feeling a lot of play in the retention compared to the left side. Went to my local Performance Bike shop to get a set of replacement cleats, but when I saw how the price for a set of C-Bro's cleats were only $3 less than a new set of Performance SPD-clone pedals on-sale, I just bought the new pedals!

It did a week however for me to readjust to the fact that I can't pull-into SPD pedals and engage the pedal from behind like the C-Bro's (more natural than the conventional toe-first entry).
