Hey all. My name is Thomas and I currently live in Boise, Idaho. I stumbled across this forum while searching for touring info. It looked interesting so I decided to stay for awhile.
I am planning on touring in a couple of months. I intend to leave Boise, ride through Oregon to the coast and drop down into California. It's been twenty years or so since I have done any touring so this may get interesting.
I will turn 46 years old soon so this just may be my "mid life crisis"....who knows?
Anyway, I come from a life time of bicycle oriented culture and did my time as a bike messenger in Oakland/San Francisco. I was much younger then.
I commute daily by bicycle, even when it is sub zero temperature and consider myself a concientious objector to internal combustion!
I don't really know what else to say other than I am glad that I found this site. I look forward to comparing notes with you all. See ya on the road...
