A cyclist was seriously injured in Sydney's south last weekend after colliding with a car.
According to an OECD report, the bike rider was lucky to escape with her life.
The OECD report says Australia experienced a 10 per cent rise in cyclist deaths during this period, while 2013 statistics also show that cycling fatalities in NSW alone have doubled since 2012.
