Wikipedia indicates schrader valves can have imperial or metric external threads. This might explain why my compressor fitting will thread onto a schrader valve, but not onto my presta valve adapter! I can find no reference to 2 types of adapters - any ideas?
Do you have one of the relatively uncommon adapter that allows a Presta pump to inflate Schrader tubes? Or one of the much more common that allows a Schrader pump to inflate Presta tubes?
