Wow, do you know when they closed? The owner was very odd and could be a little frustrating to deal with but I liked some of the other staff and that was the only shop in the city that actually sold a mini velo type bike, the biria mini 20 and they did have some interesting stuff. they did seem to previously depend on rentals and they had an enormous amount of space for a NYC bike shop, in the villiage no less.
