I start with 95 in the fall, work up to 135. I did 115 easily this winter, time to go to 135 when I'm done with my strength phase. I don't have the energy anymore to do three circuits at that weight. Strength yes, energy no. I'd have to rest now: makes it take too long. Could at 63 but not now for some reason. Yes it's rough. Takes concentration. It's supposed to be hard. Plus I do it after a moderate ride or spin class. No performance difference if I ride before or not that I can tell, other than I think riding before improves endurance.

When I ran Nordic 50 years ago, I could do 200 one-legged bodyweight squats, on the floor. So I have a history of enjoying endurance work.
