Ack, I guess I wasn't very clear. Getting the right pads was no problem. But I thought, well, since I'm buying new pads, why not upgrade the entire brake assembly? It was the brake arms that didn't quite fit right. So I ended up with my original brakes but new and improved pads.

Tell me about the caliper brakes you have. Did you have to do any special magic to mount them? And do you think the braking performance is improved compared to the V-brakes I have?
