This is a poor quality photo, this is my oldest daughter and I on a ride this past fall. We were on a twenty mile ride, on the way back, about 8 miles out she got a flat and then I realized I had not packed a tube for her bike and did not have any patches. I ended up stuffing leaves in the tire to make it ride-able but that didn't work.
This is my boy about four years ago, we were out on the mountain bike trail.
Several times a year we have a 30 mile ride that he loves, 15 out to the ice cream shop and 15 back. This shot is at the end of this past summer. He does the ride on a 20" wheel bmx bike with wide knobby tires and we average about 12-15 mph. When he gets a geared road bike I think I will probably have a hard time keeping up with him.
