Maybe in the beach cities there's a corrosion problem, but that represents a very small part of California's total area. There's a far larger part of the state that's nowhere near the evil corrosive vapors of salt water, where rust is almost non-existent. I'm lucky enough to live in one such place. If you find a corroded bike here, there's a very good chance it was imported from somewhere else, or else left on the lawn under the sprinklers.

gee you would think that you could have figured out that I was talking about the coastline without spelling it out like I was talking to a 2 year old
