Older Newbie from Left Coast

I've ridden a bicycle for most of my life (first true love, a red Raleigh 3-speed), but not much in the past 20 years. Had a "come to Jesus" meeting with a cardiologist, who said I could run, hike, or bike. I chose bike. Bought a Trek 7.3 WSD; nicest bike I've ever owned. Love commuting and running errands with it. Got tired of playing catch-up with the road bikers on group rides. Bought a Trek Lexa S; nicest bike I've ever owned.

So now my stable consist of my quarter horse (7.3) and thoroughbred (Lexa S). Still have a lot to learn, but (hopefully) not much else to buy (shorts, jerseys, lights, helmet, rack, toolkits, pumps... enough!).

Feel like a kid every time I ride.

Thanks,
mcmoose
