After suggestions to get shoes and pedals over new shifters for my POS bike, I bought some shimano clipless pedals and a pair of scattante shoes.
went around the block, and I can tell a world of difference with this setup VS platform pedals and toe straps. UGH I'll never go back. Except the spikey platforms on my mountain bike....
