Well the theft issue gets worse if i told you the Kona got stolen twice so my bikes have been stolen 3 times actually . The Trek FX was stolen out of locked storage unit along with a ton of tools, renters insurance covered that. The first time The Kona got stolen it was in a new location with a combination master lock chain. I found it the first time on Craigslist and got it back the next day with the help of the police. The 2nd time was in my condo parking garage which is secure from outsiders unless they have card access. We have an idea who it could be but no way to prove it as it is a visitor we believe. That was locked up with a Kryponite chain lock. Homeowners policy deductible is $1000 so no use in filing a claim though we do have a police record.

I will be getting a Kryponite D lock next and a separate insurance policy on this next bike.
