Most browsers allow you to individually adjust display settings for each browser window / tab. When you have BF open (in small font) in your browser, and you type in some other site's URL, what happens? Is the font still too small when the other site loads?
You are correct. For some reason my chrome settings had BF reduced to 75%. Corrected now. I have no idea why this happened to BF only but it was clearly a local condition on my laptop only.
