Huffin made it home safe and sound - he actually made it home before we stopped riding around looking for him, so that worked out well. I was getting prepared for a huge serving of guilt if we got to the parking lot and his car was still there!
Short rides... oy vay. I was a zombie by the end of our ride today. I don't know quite what I did wrong, but I think not drinking enough (it was much hotter and drier than I'm used to) and definitely not eating enough. I think Starbucks put something "unauthorized" in Vic's "coffee" when we stopped earlier in the day, just saying.
I will say the fish tacos we had on Taquiz Canyon drive were spectacular. I can't remember the name of the joint... ozzy something. Some nice young looking young woman walked in on me in the bathroom (I swear I pushed the button on the door!) so I'm sure she was traumatized by that.
I transformed from glassy eyed zombie into something resembling human after those tacos.
