Sacramento has a large, original city cemetery, where a group of volunteers have planted and tended
a collection of old roses for some fifteen or twenty years now. I used to work with them when i first retired,
but eventually drifted away up into the foothills. Anyway, I spent several enjoyable hours there today.
Autumn Damask (heavily scented)
A large and well established plant of the yellow Lady Banks rose
Souvenir de Malmaison ( a Bourbon, also heavily scented)
It's unfortunate that we do not have scratch and sniff on the internet.
Maybe it's just as well.
