I was looking at the past threads in that section, from ~2003, and they were all about regular SS bikes, not fixies. We need a section like that again.
I actually laughed to this; truth be told, we're actually anti-hipster. There's not a single hipster there. We do have bicycle repair man however.
Your other option is the rough and tumble Road cycling forum, where you might be pumbled by the equivalent of rambunctious jocks around here if you're not careful.
For starters, you wouldn't want to post such a thread in either if you do not have significantly thick skin or patience.
