You might just need to buy a longer bolt to make both fit on the same eyelet. Your LBS might have what you need, but I bought longer bolts (stainless steel) from a local Ace hardware store. Lowe's or Home Depot might even have what you need.

In my case, the store had some bolts that were a little too long, so I just used a dremel cut-off to trim the length to fit my needs.
