I made sure to do that last night, and also liked Aero Tech Designs.
I never did see the initial apology, which I guess was lame, but the later one seems reasonable. We'll see how the company progresses.
I think the same posting that started the mess would have been much better with the same text but with a picture of a family cruising down a rail trail for the contrast. I think it is fine for a company to target a certain type of rider, but not by making the alternative look bad. A nice dynamic statement that "We aren't for everyone" can be made without putting people down.
Of course, I love the Planet Fitness ads... so maybe I am a little self serving/hypocritical.
