I am signed up for the Livestrong ride the same day, but I am seriously thinking of blowing that off, since I don't want to spend the time raising money, and don't think the ride is worth $250 of my money... The last time I tried the Lancaster ride a few years ago, I made it to the lunch stop before I had to abandon due to some signs of heat exhaustion. I am not in better shape now, but for the first time since I moved to PA, I have been able to motivate myself to get out and ride in the spring, so I will be in better shape by August. I want this to be the first year in about 4 years that I will ride my age, and maybe a few extra miles to make it a metric century.
