1994 Burely Duet resurection

Rather than continue to piggyback on the other thread (http://www.bikeforums.net/tandem-cyc...ey-duet-2.html), I thought I should start my own.

I purchased the subject tandem a few months ago and have been "restoring" it back to a decent condition. All the paint was stripped and decals obtained. I have been uncertain about what to do about paint so decided to assemble the bike in the "white" and try it out along with finding what else needed to be done.

My wife and I have been doing loops, 1.1 miles, around Ft Hunt to get use to being on a tandem as well as getting everything adjusted. This week end we took it to Antietum Battlefield for a shakedown.
