New Clydesdale from Central Texas
Came across this site looking for info on Clydesdales... Yes, I am of the beefy variety. Started cycling again last year after a 6 year layoff post open heart surgery at age 44. Weighed 260 last July, now down to 215. Looking forward to chatting with you and finding inspiration to keep cranking.
I am currently looking to take up TT and am looking for a bike locally. I can usually hang in with the "fast group" on our weekend training rides on my Trek 1000 averaging 17-19 mph over 30+. I have always enjoyed competing, even though I usually come in dead last. I use to do criterium racing here locally several years ago, but it is no longer offered, hence the TT bug.
If any of you are local to the San Antonio area, gimme a holler.
