Good point. My wife quit work in July 2013 since we don't really need two incomes and, at this point, retiring at 60 just looks like the right time for me. If I wait an additional two years, the amount of retirement income would go up around 17-18% which would be nice, but then there is all that time I will never get back. Of course, in just a little over a year my annual leave will be increasing from 4 weeks to a little over 5 weeks (208 hours to be exact), so maybe I'll feel less apt to want to retire with all that vacation time accruing. Nah, never mind: It's looking like 12 years.
