Segway or $3,000??

A local TV station has a contest. The winner gets a brand new Segway or $3,000 cash.

Which would you take?

Edit: The question was rephrased in Post # 7:

At what cash value (if any) would you take the Segway instead of the money? And I'm throwing in that you can't sell the Segway if you take it.
