A friend and I riding self-supported from Columbus to Burlington, Vt. Our route takes us from Boonville, through Tupper Lake, Saranac Lake, Lake Placid to Burlington, July 8, 9, 10. Looking forward to the challenge and fantastic scenery. Forgot about black flies. We'll make sure to pack a lot of DEET. Any advice is welcome.
