Pretty much. If you want to serve in the military, stupid wars are part of the deal in America. It's like our national hobby. Whether an American dies on D-Day in a 'good' war or in Vietnam in a war that maybe we shouldn't have engaged in, their sacrifice is just as noble, the unimaginable debt we owe them and their families just the same.
