My name is Pat, I am a big man 6'5" 295 lbs and about a month ago I bought a 22 inch frame Raleigh Venture comfort bike to get some exercise and hopefully lose some weight. Oh yea and I am going to turn 40 this July.

I think I have been riding 3 weeks, my endurance has gone up, I feel better, and I have lost a few lbs but not that many. I really like my bike, I mostly ride around the neighborhood but also ride on a dirt patrol road/trail on the local military base along the perimeter of the fence.

PS Why is there no section for comfort bikes, does that fall under the hybrid section?
Congrats on the new bike! However, I feel obligated to say that weight is lost at the dinner table, not on the bike - thought it helps.
