Ok, did some work today on the bike, swapped out the nexus shifter and replaced with a 5 speed thumbie from my old
Stumpjumper. Yeah, vintage, only 5 speed back there. But I think all my bad thoughts on the nexus is not as bad, problem
Was the shifter and not the hub. And so far it has not cost anything, just old parts. I'm a happy camper!
