A curiously identical century

Although I ride a lot, I don't often attempt century rides. I decided that yesterday was going to be the day for a solo century. So I headed out, determined to ride from northern suburbs of Chicago to Racine, WI and back. Upon return, the bike computer said 104.62 miles. Curiously, that was *exactly* the same distance it recorded (104.62mi) in my last century ride--the Holland Hundred group ride in Michigan last July. I got to thinking about that and realized that 0.01 of a mile is more than the distance from my garage to the street through the alley. So, how in the hell did that just happen?

Anyways, just a fun numerical coincidence. I must admit things like this are kind of fun (although maybe I need to get out more ;-).
